Botanical Gardens

Charlie

Di and I walked over to Andrew and Jadine'sat 10:15 after a breakfast at a small cafe across from our hotel. The wal is 4 km and takes us just over an hour.. We passed by Charlie the Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, Charlie sits in a large cage at a house besde the road and says "hello" to everyone passing by. Jadine is home from work when arive and we all head over to the botanical gardens for the afternoon.

 

The gardens are spectacular with plants from all over Australian and south east Asia. We enjoyed lunch there at the restaurant before stolling around the grounds for several hours. Priscilla would love it here.. After the gardens we headed up to the top of Mt Grabbat to enjoy the view. Mt. Grabbat is the area where Andrews apartment is and he goes to the Mt. Grabbat campus of Grifffith University.

We wrap up the day by picking up the ingredients and making sushi back at the apartment.
