Since we enjoyed the Ferry so much yesterday we took it back across the Clarence. Not to mention, that was the only way back on the road to Brissy. We only had 350 km to go today so decided to take a short detour to see the Giants Causway at Fingle's lighthouse. Actually it was the Causeway that was not so Giant, but that was OK, it was still pretty cool. The Causeway is a basaltic intrusion, the remenant of volcanic activity from millenia ago, that extends from high on shore, whee the lighthouse stands, out into the ocean. After the brief stop we continued on into Brissie and found our campsite at the Brisbane Caravan Park. This is definitely the most up scale park we have been in yet. We walked over to the Garden City Shopping Mall, had a bite to eat, and picked up a couple of items we plan to send back to Holly and Laughlin. Back at the campsite we relaxed, sorted out some stuff and showered. Andrew came and pick us up after work, around 8:30. We had a great time with him and Jadine, telling them all about our adventures to date. Andrew dropped us off back at the campsite around 11:00 and we called it a night.
